About Chic Twice
Chic Twice is a thrifting ecosystem built to keep quality clothing moving. We make the first step easy with free pickup, then sort each piece toward its best next use—curated resale, community donation, or responsible textile recycling. Founded and run by a female immigrant, our all-immigrant team—including two people who rebuilt their lives after fleeing war—does the hands-on work behind that system.
We collect clean, wearable clothing, shoes, and accessories for free, then review every piece individually. Standout fashion can move into curated resale, other wearable items can serve community organizations, and damaged textiles can be routed to responsible recycling when possible.
Selective resale keeps quality fashion in circulation and helps fund the work around it: free pickups, careful sorting, fair wages for our team, local garment donations, and responsible textile recycling.
Every item selected for resale triggers another garment donation. Qualifying sales fund tree planting, while other wearable pieces are redirected locally and damaged textiles are recycled when possible. One pickup can create several kinds of impact.
What we believe
Clothing does not need one universal next step. A standout piece may have years of wear left with a new owner; another may be more useful through a community organization; a worn textile may be best suited for recycling.
Our role is to make those next steps thoughtful, transparent, and simple enough that people want to keep participating.
