We sort every piece by its best next use: standout fashion is curated for resale, other wearable pieces are directed to community organizations, and damaged textiles are recycled when possible. Resale helps power the system—every item selected for resale triggers another garment donation, and qualifying sales fund tree planting.

Pass on quality pieces
Gather clean, wearable clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. Please prepare at least 25 items per pickup. Standard trash bags, vacuum-sealed bags, or boxes are welcome (maximum 8 per pickup).

Schedule online and leave the bags outside at the agreed location. We stop by for an easy, no-contact pickup.

Is pickup really free?
Yes. Chic Twice pickup is free, with no hidden collection charge.
Do I need to be home for pickup?
No. Leave your prepared bags or boxes in the agreed pickup location before your scheduled window. Your driver will message before arrival.
Where is pickup available?
We currently serve eligible communities across the PA–NJ–NY Tri-State Area. Availability may vary by ZIP code and route capacity.
What can I donate?
Please send clean, dry, wearable clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories—the kind you would happily give to a friend. We cannot accept underwear, wet, moldy, contaminated, or hazardous items, counterfeits, or household waste. Clean, dry damaged textiles may be included for recycling. Please prepare at least 25 items per pickup. Up to 8 bags or boxes are welcome.
What happens to my clothes after pickup?
Every piece enters the Chic Twice thrifting ecosystem. We review it and choose the most useful next path: standout items may be curated for resale, other wearable pieces are directed to community organizations, and damaged textiles are routed to recycling when possible. The goal is to keep each piece in useful circulation for as long as we can.
How do you decide what gets resold?
Our team reviews pieces for condition, style, and likely resale demand. Items that are a strong fit may be cleaned and listed through Chic Twice. Resale is selective rather than the destination for everything—the larger goal is to find the best next use for every piece we collect.
How is Chic Twice different from a traditional donation center?
Chic Twice is a for-profit, mission-driven thrifting ecosystem rather than a 501(c)(3) charity. We combine free pickup, selective resale, local garment donation, and textile recycling in one system. Resale helps fund free pickups, fair wages for our small team, and the wider impact program. Because Chic Twice is not a nonprofit, items given to us are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.
Do I receive any perks for donating?
While we don’t purchase items with cash, every donor receives a forever 15% discount at the Chic Twice store (stackable on any sale), plus a thank-you note and sweet treat on your porch!
How does the one-for-one donation work?
For every item selected for Chic Twice resale, we donate another clothing item through an organization serving the community.
When is a tree planted?
When one of the items you give us sells through our regular resale channels, we fund the planting of one tree. The planting is added to our impact ledger after partner verification.
What happens to items you cannot accept?
Wearable items not selected for resale are donated at no cost through local charities and churches based on community needs. When possible, unusable textiles are routed to VIA of the Lehigh Valley for recycling. Items we cannot safely handle may be returned or declined.
